Run in conjuction with Crickhowell Walking Festival 2008
Description:
A leisurely walk beside Govilon Wharf and along the Mon & Brecon canal. Our Welsh and English speaking guides will share its history and place-names in both languages. After a detour around some of the most interesting buildings in Govilon we stop for tea and Welsh cakes at Llanwenarth Chapel Hall.

Description:
A leisurely walk along the route of the Abergavenny to Merthyr Railway Line. Spectacular views across the Usk valley to the surrounding hills. Returning back into Govilon to hear about the history of the village, before returning to the car park via the Mon & Brecon canal.
